healthy bircher muesli


RECIPE: Healthy Bircher Muesli - Serves 4


1 1/2 cups of rolled oats

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/3 cup walnuts crushed

1/3 cup dried currants

2 organic red apples coarsely grated

270ml coconut milk

2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup of natural yoghurt

To top: fruit of your choice, nuts, seeds, extra yoghurt, shaved coconut


  1. Start the night before. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and distribute into glass jars. I reuse condiment jars. You need to sterilise with boiling water for 3 minutes first.

  2. Leave overnight and top with your favourite fruit, nuts etc

Muesli will last in jars for 3 days so you have breakfast on the run sorted for most of the working week. Enjoy x
