banana bread

HEALTHY BANANA BREAD - dairy free Serves 8
INGREDIENTS:
120g Pitted dates chopped/pulsed finely
200g wholemeal spelt flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey
90ml olive oil
2 eggs
3 ripe banana's - mashed
1 banana cut in half to place on top of loaf when ready to cook.
120ml almond milk (OAT MILK FOR NUT FREE BREAD)
METHOD:
1.Preheat oven at 180C fan force. Grease and line with baking paper a 25x23x8cm loaf tin.
2. Blend all dry ingredients together, then add all the wet ingredients.
3. Pour into loaf tin and bake on bottom shelf for approximately 1 hour or until skewer comes out clean.
NOTE: Great to have individual slices in the freezer too.
