french toast fingers with honey and fruit

RECIPE: French Toast Fingers with Fruit - serves 2


2 rolls cut into fingers or thick slices of bread - Should be left over bread. Cut approximately 3-4cm in thickness

3 eggs

1/2 cup of cream or milk

1 pinch of salt

1 tablespoon ghee or butter

1 handful of raspberries 

1/2 banana - sliced


  1. Cut up rolls/slices of bread into fingers approx. 4cm x 4cm

  2. Heat a frypan on medium to high heat with the butter or ghee

  3. Mix eggs, cream, salt in a bowl. Soak fingers in egg mix and coat all sides

  4. Fry on all side's until golden brown

  5. Serve with fruit and drizzle honey
